What is e-EPIC?
**e-EPIC** is a secure, portable, and non-editable PDF version of the Electoral Photo Identity Card. It features a secured QR code containing the voter's image and demographic details.
It is equally valid as the physical Voter ID card for identification purposes during voting and other verification processes.

Who is Eligible to Download e-EPIC?
The download facility is available to all registered electors holding a valid EPIC number. The requirements are:
- Registered Mobile Number: The elector must have a unique mobile number registered in the ECI records. If your mobile number is not registered, you must submit Form 8 to update your mobile number before trying to download.
- Bilingual copies: The downloaded card is available in both English and your regional state language.

The electronic voter card contains secure features to prevent forgery:
- Secure QR Code: Contains the voter's photograph and verified data, which can be scanned using the official ECI scanner app.
- PDF Format: Easily printable on glossy paper, laminated, or stored in digital wallets like DigiLocker.
- No Cost: The download is completely free of charge.
Step-by-Step Download Instructions
- Input your Voter ID number and choose the state in the form above.
- Click the download button to be routed to `voters.eci.gov.in`.
- Login to the portal using your registered mobile number or credentials.
- Click on the **e-EPIC Download** dashboard tab.
- Choose whether you want to search by EPIC number or Form Reference Number.
- Enter the EPIC/Reference code and select your state.
- Click search, verify the voter details shown on the screen, and click "Send OTP".
- Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click "Download e-EPIC".
Alternative Method: DigiLocker
You can also fetch your digital Voter ID card directly from your **DigiLocker** account:
- Open the DigiLocker app or website.
- Search for "Election Commission of India" under document issuers.
- Select "Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC)".
- Enter your EPIC number and select your state.
- Consent to details fetch, and click "Get Document" to save the card in your locker.
